My OTP. Now and Forever.

Fattening Week of the Year

This week, I can feel myself expanding sideways. Especially my thighs. It's really a bad thing. So sinful like.... (insert right word).
4 times KFC, 1 time McDonald's, 1 time Popeyes', Ben & Jerry's Clusterfluff... Ending the week with Domino's Pizza, two LARGE pizza, Chocolate Lava Cake, Breadstix.

Ohmy.

I'm not gonna even look at any fast food outlet next week. Nor am I gonna think about it.
Better still, I might need to start an exercise regime soon. These oily fast food is really bad for everyone's health.

Advice to all: Try to avoid eating fast food as much as you can.

Exercise regime: Morning/Evening run every Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday. Hopefully there's someone who can run with me to motivate me to run longer distance.

YOSH!

This dude do some awesome shizz drawings. I totally envy this deviantart user. What not, he's good with his pencil and then Adobe Photoshop and some other editing programs.
He then moved to another account.

AREN'T YOU JUST SPEECHLESS, JUST BY VIEWING THEM?

Because School's Like That

I am so not looking forward to the start of the new school semester tomorrow. It's a little bit frightful as to what to expect in this whole new level of education, with all that weird subjects that I've never heard before in school. ENG Maths, Real Estate Business, yadaa yaraa! What the shit.

At first, when W1103 CP gave us the timetable, I was a happy kid since I thought my Wed-Fri ends at 1pm... BUT, NO! I just had the itch to check and confirm online and guess what I saw, on Wed, I actually end at 5pm. Sweet. That extra lessons after 1pm and the 1 hour of break is... SURPRISE SURPRISE!! Three hours of ENG Maths 1 (LSP) tutorials. Happens that LSP stands for Learning Support Programme. Tsk. Yeah, I so need the shit for extra tutorials for ENG Maths 1. I can't imagine embracing anymore Maths stuff in a day. 3 hours is not enough, it's every week. Dang! I should have studied harder for Maths during the O's and then perhaps, got the chance to skip the LSP. Forever the slacker in Maths class.
My happiness was short-lived. So much for hoping that I could hang out with my classmates during one of those days after school.
Anyways, I should have followed my motto from the start - to stop hoping for anything.
*Fails*

HALT! I promised myself to study hard in Polytechnic. Maths shall not be the reason I flung my academic points. I will do my best to embrace, love and understand Maths like as though it's my life. I will also promise not to let anything distract me during lessons.

My regret: Not studying hard enough before Polytechnic.

Yosh! I will survive the next 3 years like a full-time nerd and part-time party-goer.
And I shall see to it, that if I can manage the first term, I'll try to get a flexible part-time job on the second term so that I can support myself and not always rely on my mum for weekly allowance. We shall see.
But there's another thing, I don't even know if I should take up any CCA or not. It'll take up a lot of my energy and needs some of my attention besides my studies.
6 months of shaking legs at home, I've forgotten how to divide my time efficiently.

A lot of my wonderful friends are already sending me words of encouragement. Thanks especially to Valerie, Jie Min, Desiree, Atiqah Goldfish and some of my course-mates. And also to my clique for always being there for me.

I know I'm not alone.

nonnetta deviantart gallery displays really nice pictures. You guys should really view them when you've got the time.
Sometimes, SIMPLICITY says it all.
Have fun!
Something beautiful inside of me.

ENG Apr Orientation (AY2011/12)

Week 0 Orientation last three days was AWESOME!! Because I spent it with W1103, Sandy and Shaun.

Day ONE: Was kinda tiring with all the running around campus, doing stupid games and cheer which I didn't use much of my voice at all. I was still the shy kid as ever. W1103 awesome people are fine to me, just that I feel a bit outcasted.

Day TWO: The boring day. There was the Course Manager talk in the lecture theatre. The Director's Speech in the TCC was worst... Somehow turning into a sleep fest in the beginning. Fun part of the day was always with W1103 during lunch and all.

Day THREE: Olympiad and Regatta. SCREW BUSINESS SCHOOL FOR WINNING... Tiring day overall, screamed my lungs out at the stadium during Olympiad and ran to Bedok Reservoir for more cheering during Regatta.

I MISS W1103 FUN MOMENTS WITH SHAUN AND SANDY.

Monday 18 April 2011

Had this for dinner last night. One LARGE pizza. Could have gone for two but my brothers and I hadn't got the chance to withdraw money from the ATM. So we settled for one large.
It's darn nice! And the delivery is superb and ridiculously fast. We ordered online at 9:19pm and we used it's GPS Tracker. Guess what, it appeared at our doorstep at 9:37pm. The pizza is all hot a fresh too.

That's why we're planning for another round of pizza - two LARGE this time - over the upcoming weekend. Because we love it like that.

Canadian 2-for-1 Pizza still topped our favorite list. Followed by Domino's Pizza and Pastamania's Pizza. And surprise, surprise! Pizza Hut is last on the list.
What a bummer.

----------~~~~~----------

For now, I feel like eating here:

Never been to Wendy's before. Maybe one of the days after school, I should head down to this fastfood chain. And drag my new friends along.

My food cravings are horribly wide and variety.
I better burn my old calories away first before topping more new ones.
*shoot self*

No kidding. This Tumblr user dude is just so awesome with his lenses. He's more into lomography than photography but hey, both are equally cool.

And he got a total of whooping 16 cameras - 15 analogs, 1 digital. Wondering how I know? This dude happens to be my 1st brother.

Little sister is jealous.

Follow him here:

Even one of my friends got mindfucked while looking through my 1st brother's Tumblr.
Oh yeah. He's awesome.

No shit. I was laughing hard at this one when my 1st brother showed this to me last year.

DARN. THIS IS HILARIOUS.

----------~~~~~----------

From now on, I'm using back my Tumblr and am going to share some of their stuffs here and place my thoughts about it.
Tumblr users share awesome stuff.

Oh darn! Tomorrow is already the start of ENG School Week 0 Orientation and I'm already having mixed feelings - anxious, nervous, scared, stoked, doubtful.
I'm really acting like a real freshman. What if I act too weirdly and the IFM people will stare at me like some alien...? What if I can't adapt and have trouble making friends in real life...? What if I'm doomed to be a loner...? See, my life is a big WHAT IF.
I can't be too shy and anti-social from now on. I did said the starting of Polytechnic will have a new me, anyways. I better hold on to that statement or else I've failed this whole new resolution, trying to be a chic nerd. Heh!

What the heck. For anyone's information, I just got lectured by an old friend of mine to smile more from now on. Thanks, buddy...
He said I don't smile so much in the past and to him, it's a wasted thing. He also added that if I smile more to any people, I'd be more lovable and easy to approach. Well, not any random people but people people, especially friends, friends of friends or friends-to-be.
And I actually promised him I'll change. What a dork.
I'm so gonna smack him upside down when I see him around school. At least I'm lucky he's not in the same course as me. Or death shall pursue after me.
But I guess he's quite right. If I want to change, I better start by smiling more.

Here's the updated information about my course-mates so far:

W1101: Syuhada Iskandar, Afifah Oit, Fahmi Amir, Eliza Tay, Ho MinPei, Marjorie Poon, Felicia Lee (7)

W1102: Nakajima Shihoe, Matthew Pang, Charlene Quek, XinYing Poh, Geraldine Goh, Hannah Bowie, Samantha Yeo, Fang Ren (8)

W1103: Tsefang L. Jtcy, Vincent wantstobeGl, Rachel XinYi, Qianhui WantsMusic, Aisyah Jalil, Jeth Ho, Ong SiMin, Arif Arfyan, Cheryl Tan, Meredith Wee, Hanif Hussain, Carissa Boo (12)

W1104: Siti Farhana, Cecilia Cathyfleur, Wendy Teo, Max Afro-Guanxzxzc, Kendra Kwek, Weixuan Ng (6)

W1105: Fong Sock Han, Anqi Ayako, Muhammad Sa'dan, Yanhan Low, Jac Kng, Victoria Liang, HweeYen Kwon, Nurul Farahin, Jasmine Wee, Gh Lovekembangan, Farihin Joehari, Lee Zi Yu (12)

Unknown: Minmin Ho, Ong Ling Ling, Ong Wee Jun, Khairi Yusri, Othat Konishi Tan
 (5)

The underlines are just the names of the people I've chatted with before. They seem very friendly and that's a problem for me, I'm scared I won't fit among them. I'm not really that hyper in real life if I'm not with my cliques.
That's why I need to freaking change, smile more and kill that anti-social side of me.

You can do it, girl!

"Roses are red. Violets are blue. Faces like yours belong in the zoo. Don't be mad, I'll be there too. Not in the cage, but laughing at you."

Saturday 16 April 2011

There's no restriction as to what one should read.
However, there's a restriction as to what one can watch.

I just don't get it. From my point of view, I tend to get more imaginative reading and it's the same as watching the same-titled film.
So, why the restriction to the films and not the books too?

Here's an example:

Anyone, and I do mean anyone of any age can read this book.
Norwegian Wood is a novel by Haruki Murakami and yes, there's intimate scenes in the book which is kind of descriptive to any imaginative minds. Like mine.

It has also been made into a movie by a Vietnamese director Tran Anh Hung.
Norwegian Wood which stars Rinko Kikuchi and the man I'm squealing over, Kenichi Matsuyama is now showing in cinemas. Unfortunately, it has been rated M18 for intimate scenes.
Disappointing much?

Maybe there should be a new rating impose in Singapore. Perhaps a rating for 16 years old and above?
I really want to catch this movie but all I can do now is wait till I'm really 18 and buy the DVD itself. If I'm lucky enough, hunt it online and quietly watch it alone.

The same thing goes for this book and same-titled film. I've never been so heartbroken before. Tch.

This book...
Again, anyone can read it. Even a child of 10 years old with the mind or maturity of a young adult.
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro.

Also been made into a movie...
Staring Keira Knightly, Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield.
For goodness' sake, it's also M18 for intimate scenes.

Damn right. I see no fairness in this.
I'm a year shy to watch these seemingly awesome movies.

And off I go to feel all depressed at one corner.

Swears Like A Sailor

Ahoy, matey!! Yer ready fer some shittin' out tharr?

Found a site that counts and places you on a level for the number of swears you tweet.
Check out yours here:

Apparently, I'm on Level 56 (surprisingly enough) with 2,682 exp which means that out of my 19,930 tweets, I've used vulgar words in 250 tweets so far.
I'm so ashamed of myself. I didn't know I swore so much online.
Because 'shit' is also a vulgar word. Maybe I should stop going to the toilet too when the nature calls out for me.
Gross.

Whatever. Just get over it, bitch. Not everything in life contains rainbow and fluffy unicorns.
And I'm not all innocent and decent most of the time.

So don't get deceived by my image.

Bad-ass.

Friday 15 April 2011

I better prepare myself for an outing of ice-skating with FYL girls tomorrow. My first time ever. And let's hope I don't suck or embarrass myself too much by falling down whenever I'm on the ice. I'm sure my butt can crack the ice.

FYL girls. Seems like not everyone is able to attend for this outing that is suppose to be an outing before the hell in Polytechnic breaks loose and JC opens its seventh gate of hell. Oh yeah, we're gonna be that busy soon enough.

I wished I have a good camera ready for tomorrow. But me being me, I only got those lousy ones and even my phone's camera is hopeless. Never mind then. I'll just rely on others' cameras to post some photos on this blog later.
Ah, even Emily is not going. I have failed as an outing organizer. THAT'S IT! I QUIT! No more next time. This is going to be my last time organizing.

Wait up for the new post about this FYL outing.

Have a good weekend ahead, everyone!

Epic Fail of the Millennium

Life is getting scarier when idiots attempted to make a real-life adaptation of certain anime. It reeks of utter epic failure. And a disgrace to the original anime and their creator. I'm very sure they would be cussing and cringing at the sight of the aftermath of such adaptation with white people as the actors/actresses in it. Please, anime should only be left to the Japanese alone. Don't screw it up and taint it anymore.

EPIC FAIL OF THE MILLENNIUM:

Live-Action Pokémon Movie Trailer (fan-made)

After watching this, I don't know which is more scarier... A Pikachu that looks like a druggie, a fugly old Ash, failed acting or the whole trailer itself.

IDIOTS!

Dragon Ball Evolution Movie Trailer

That's a really failed Goku and other casts. I pity Akira Toriyama.

MORONS!

BLEACH

I'm going to quote this from Wiki. The horror of it all.
"In March 2010, Warner Bros. (USA/Canada/International) and Regency Enterprises confirmed that it is in talks to create a live action movie adaptation of the series. Peter Segal, Arnon Milchan and Michael Ewing have been lined up to produce the movie."
I can only say one thing in return,
"Fuck you, Warner Bros and Regency Enterprises. Just leave the hell off Bleach, pack your bags and go back to where you idiots belong. Westerners doing a live-action adaptation of anime is a huge fail whale, I warn you."

Seriously. Bleach? Live-action movie adaptation? I can't imagine how Ichigo, Rukia or Byakuya will look like on other humans. Or how stupid they will be acting.

I'm going to quote again this mindless statement from geek-news.mtv.com:
"What anime/manga from your childhood would you like to see get the 'dark and edgy' Hollywood treatment?

Want to know what's my answer to that, honey?
"I'm going to fucking shove that 'dark and edgy Hollywood treatment' up your asses if you change anymore anime/manga into live action movie adaptation. It's utterly repulsive to my sane mind!"

So save us, don't turn anymore anime into any real-life adaptation! *cringed*

Another one more live action adaptation that almost make me want to puke blood.

The Last Airbender

Shamelessly, all the cool characters turned into something so repulsive in the movie. Prince Zuko, Toph, Aang and the siblings.

I got nothing else to say to Warner Bros.

Disappointment.
*shakes head*
