Payphone

Payphone - Maroon 5 ft. Wiz Khalifa

"If happy ever after did exist
I would still be holding you like this
And all those fairy tales are full of it
One more stupid love song I'll be sick"

G-O GO! Year 2.1 Here I Come!

I don't know what to feel about my new modules for the new semester, it seems difficult and definitely dry. Whatnot, most of the modules are about buildings! Fire and Life Safety Management? Energy Management and Audit? Sustainable Facility Management? Security and Surveillance? Add some business modules like Quantitative Methods and Business Continuity Management.
At first, I was sure as hell excited to be getting a new timetable but once I realized what the modules could possibly be teaching, I was like 'Damn, how to survive the next few months!'.

Mondays: I could deal with the Monday Blues by going for morning runs, have a hearty breakfast outside and then possible take some naps before going to school because thank God, classes start late.

Tuesdays: Again, I think I could deal with the classes for Tuesdays since it starts at 10am and ends at 4pm. Hopefully I can squeeze a morning run before classes if I'm not a bum.

Wednesdays: The day could have been better if my classes start from 9am to 1pm like the rest of my classmates but no. Just no. Creative Writing just have to butt in at 2pm till 5pm and I can't imagine myself sitting quietly for a 3-hour class. And yeah, I chose Creative Writing because I wanted to, so I should just shut up and be happy with the class timing.
Creative Writing = Erotic Writing.
That's what my friends refer this class as for my case.
And I'm touched that some people have faith in me to do well in Creative Writing since I'm such a bookworm. Alright, alright... In other words, I'm such a nerd. Thanks guys! I'll do my best! ;)

Thursdays: The worst day of the week! Classes start at 8am and I've to squash with the rush hour. That's not all! Classes just have to end at 6pm on this day! 8am to 6pm in school? I don't think I can survive this shit without looking like the walking dead. So save me God! :'(

Fridays: Lo and behold! Last day of the week and classes end the earliest on this day; or probably earlier if I'm such an ass and decide to skip some lectures. Heee! Pray tell I don't have any commitments after classes  on this day. I sure as hell want to chill out and wind down.

Well, that's about it. My predictions for the upcoming days ahead once the new semester starts~ ;D

Going into Year 2, brand new semester... there should be new resolve to do better this year! Part of me wants to be a devoted student, another part of me wants to balance both studies and social life. Uhhhh we shall see how! :P

I've effectively turned into this big fat of slob over the long holidays, well, not necessarily big fat but definitely a slob. Whatnot, just look at me! In this one month and twenty-three days of immense boredom, I've been utterly useless, out of job, a little bit too spendthrift and most of the time, a couch potato.
Not so attractive if this were to be included in my résumé, I know.
Oh well, it can't be helped and I'm obviously too late to complain about my luck.

At least I'm learning the ways of being a housewife although I'm still too young and it's a far-fetched dream. But hey, it's never too young to start learning, right? So, Mama have been drilling some simple recipes into my head and the only thing I'm supposed to do now is perfect it. Not as easy as I thought. The first few tries of certain dishes have always turned up either too diluted or too spicy but Mama says she can see some improvements. Whoop! Whoop!
Some people got the guts to say I don't do housework just because my hands are smooth. Never mind that, because I shall see those comments as compliments since these people obviously can't take care of their hands.
Grocery shopping, cooking, vacuuming, sweeping the floor, cleaning the toilet, changing bedspreads, dusting, laundry... Hmmmm... What other housework have I not done before?
Wait, hold on a sec. The more I say about this, the more I see myself going through a maid course instead of learning the ways of being a housewife. What the frigging hell!

Alright. Enough ranting.
I've got a meeting to go to tomorrow.
In school.

Huge Cravings!

DOUGHNUTS

CHEWY JUNIOR

CUPCAKES

STRUDELS

Ah, that out-of-the-blue cravings I have which involves sinfully tasty and beautiful food. Just look at these photos! Ain't it so tempting to the point of constant salivation?
Since I can't get my hands of these food at this hour of the hour, I shall stare a hole into these photos and then plan when to eat them. I mean hey, they did said that staring at a photo of the food you're craving can satisfy that craving... temporarily. D-uh.
But that simply won't work for me.
I need to get my hands on them before my stomach goes on a riot.

Now, for the golden question, anyone wanna treat me?

Children of Winter

When immense boredom became too overwhelming...

Oreo Cupcakes

On one of the days when my temporary lapse of sanity due to immense boredom became too overwhelming, I decided to bake cupcakes and voila! I present to you, my Oreo Cupcakes.
But I'm only proud of the icing I made because it doesn't border on the too sweet margin.

Now I'm thinking of making another cupcake before the school semester restarts. Like I don't know, maybe a few days before school so that I could bring some to class and force-feed some hungry lions.
We'll see how my mood goes ;)

Other than that, I am so going to try making Chocolate-Coated Peanut Butter Balls [http://www.joyofbaking.com/candy/PeanutButterBalls.html] for the heck of it during one of the school days when I got too fed-up with classes. Other than being a slave to books, I deserve some sort of relaxation, yes? Shall add baking to my list of de-stress activities, besides reading, drawing, writing and surfing the net.

And yes, school is starting in exactly two weeks' time. What a huge bummer!

Advance April's Fool Entertainment

Call me cruel or wicked for all I care. I have this tendency to laugh at humans' ridiculous reactions over something so trivial, so useless and most importantly, a downright hoax that they chose to believe in.

Yup, they're humans alright.
They believe whatever (may seems legit) that is thrown at them.

I'm now having the hardest laugh.

So yeah. As I was saying, I had a good laugh seeing students' bombastic reactions over the news (it's a hoax, d-uh) about Temasek Polytechnic coming up with a school uniform plan for the upcoming semester. Oh for heaven's sake, the design of the said uniforms are a giveaway that it's a hoax. For example, the guys' uniform has shorts... Right, I did mentioned SHORTS. Imagine them wearing those red fugly shorts and BAMZ! leg hair is sticking out everywhere. Disturbing scene, aye? Unless someone is going to promote Veet for the guys on the first day of school.

Happy April's Fool in advance, fools.

That's about it.

Continue to humor me, humans.

I officially need to find a new hobby. Like now. Pronto.
A hobby that probably doesn't involves reading or drawing because they're both my current ones and I'm getting bored so to speak. Therefore, I need a new hobby that will bring thrill into my already mundane life.

I have a few in mind but I don't really have much moolah to even start them. Like, I don't know, street photography sounds nice but I don't have a camera. Watching movie at home? I don't think that's cut out to be considered a hobby. Baking? I'm too nuts lazy to find weird ingredients. Write a story? My English isn't that brilliant in the grammar sense. Reading or drawing? Oh wait, that's already in my list.

So, any other brilliant ideas out there? Would be glad to try them out if it's within my budget or.... within my interest.

----------~~~~~----------

Guess what. I can't find any decent job and I've been rejected.
Well, thank you, sire. You just made me feel as though I'm stepping inside some Chinese territory. Oh for God's sake, it's a freaking English-speaking country with a mixture of other languages. Why must most of the jobs require English-and-Mandarin speaking? Why is there hardly any English-and-Malay speaking jobs? Or perfect still, just English speaking jobs. Fuck 'em all. I cater to English-speaking Singaporeans, not those PRC please.

Because of all these factors, yes, I'm unemployed, becoming a couch potato and a tai tai with a hole in her pocketful of sunshine.

I don't know, man. When I thought I could find a decent temporary job in the ads, it just have to either be English AND Mandarin speaking requirement or the workplace is bloody inaccessible. I foresee myself being forced to do housework during my vacation. Only housework. At home. Urgh.

Je suis de retour. Aucun doute.

Well, surprise! Surprise! I've finally decided to make another comeback, another failed appearance here after a darn long hiatus. It's been like what, almost three months of absence ever since 23rd December 2011? I didn't even celebrate or welcome 2012 here and all you've been reading is utter emptiness. And before anyone goes after my silence, I shall payback with a three months' worth of update, I think.

Welcoming 2012 has been a breeze but that tugging feeling that it's gonna be one hell of a bad year never leaves my mind. And lo and behold, I started the first month, and probably the second month too, on a really bad note. Everything was very rushing, especially when exams were closing in and I had to juggle five projects and their blasted deadlines. But I don't think that was half bad, until a group mate from hell came into the picture. I was sure as hell pissed off beyond the seventh gate of hell, when I thought I could easily aced that module but that hellish thing came in to ruin it all. Because of that, I realized I have issues with my anger management but I think it's fair enough since I do have the rights to show my anger and lash it out on the wrongdoer. I mean seriously, bro? Who on earth gets angry and still laughs and smiles like a lunatic? Definitely not me.

Moving on the the second month, it's probably the same as the first but with more pressure from the upcoming exams. Hell, I could hardly understand any shit from several modules during my revision and I was asking for last minute crash course from other students. It was bad, really. I advise anyone to never ever study a week before exam because you sure as hell will be gaping like a dying fish. Though it kinda surprised me back then that I managed to get out of the examination room waaaaaaaaay before the time's up! Ah, and there was my birthday week! Whoooooop whoooooop!

And so, that brought me to the lovely month of March, where we are now. I know right. The time passes by us way too fast for our own good.

Enjoy!

I'm back. No doubt.
