Ice-Skating

I did promised to post something about my first ice-skating experience last month but due to the late upload of photos by a dear friend, I had to delay it. Oopsie, sorry!

Anyways, that was my first time ever going to an ice ring to skate and as a newbie, I fell on my bum 5 freaking times. Thank goodness my ass is not flat, like what most bitches wished for. Practiced a few rounds around the rink and with Candy's help, I managed to skate on my own. I'm inspirational, aren't I? Thanks. Heh!

It was really, really fun but the minus point about it is that the ice rink was nearly packed with people and kids. I was super fearful that I might bump into them and cause them to get hurt.

Here's the day's photos with some of my FYL girls. Enjoy!

Before I had to go off first. At the Stadium MRT platform.

Candy just had to hug me before I leave.

Having light snacks and awesome drinks at Starbucks after ice-skating.
TIRED FACES!

Abby Sonia and me.

Abby and me. AGAIN!

I love our impromptu expression right before the camera snaps.

Snapshots!

Oh yeah, I had real good fun that day. Only now I don't know if I could ice-skate again 'cause my left leg has always been causing problems ever since I twisted the ankle when I was 11 years old. Left ankle has not been healing properly ever since.

Because School's Like That

I am so not looking forward to the start of the new school semester tomorrow. It's a little bit frightful as to what to expect in this whole new level of education, with all that weird subjects that I've never heard before in school. ENG Maths, Real Estate Business, yadaa yaraa! What the shit.

At first, when W1103 CP gave us the timetable, I was a happy kid since I thought my Wed-Fri ends at 1pm... BUT, NO! I just had the itch to check and confirm online and guess what I saw, on Wed, I actually end at 5pm. Sweet. That extra lessons after 1pm and the 1 hour of break is... SURPRISE SURPRISE!! Three hours of ENG Maths 1 (LSP) tutorials. Happens that LSP stands for Learning Support Programme. Tsk. Yeah, I so need the shit for extra tutorials for ENG Maths 1. I can't imagine embracing anymore Maths stuff in a day. 3 hours is not enough, it's every week. Dang! I should have studied harder for Maths during the O's and then perhaps, got the chance to skip the LSP. Forever the slacker in Maths class.
My happiness was short-lived. So much for hoping that I could hang out with my classmates during one of those days after school.
Anyways, I should have followed my motto from the start - to stop hoping for anything.
*Fails*

HALT! I promised myself to study hard in Polytechnic. Maths shall not be the reason I flung my academic points. I will do my best to embrace, love and understand Maths like as though it's my life. I will also promise not to let anything distract me during lessons.

My regret: Not studying hard enough before Polytechnic.

Yosh! I will survive the next 3 years like a full-time nerd and part-time party-goer.
And I shall see to it, that if I can manage the first term, I'll try to get a flexible part-time job on the second term so that I can support myself and not always rely on my mum for weekly allowance. We shall see.
But there's another thing, I don't even know if I should take up any CCA or not. It'll take up a lot of my energy and needs some of my attention besides my studies.
6 months of shaking legs at home, I've forgotten how to divide my time efficiently.

A lot of my wonderful friends are already sending me words of encouragement. Thanks especially to Valerie, Jie Min, Desiree, Atiqah Goldfish and some of my course-mates. And also to my clique for always being there for me.

I know I'm not alone.
