How long has it been since I last update - 2 weeks? 3 weeks? Whatever it is, it sure feels so freaking long. I just missed having those free time to type my thoughts here, an alternative platform to spill out whatever thing I've been locking up inside of me. Yes, it's just difficult for me to speak up and talk freely. Okay, let's just say I'm very lazy to talk long-winded stuff. So I'll just type out and whoever wants to read, it's my pleasure. Whoever doesn't want to read, kindly scram :)
The first month in school totally past by like nobody's business. Damn fast, I tell ya! But it's darn stressing too, with the loads and loads of assignments, projects and quizzes. I thought I almost couldn't cope well but thank God I could, with the help of friends and never-ending encouragement from family and friends.
I passed my first Electrical Services for Facilities (ESFAC) lab at my first try since all that we were required to do was complete the 13-A plug. Chicken feet.
And then, there's the Math quiz result. Dammit, I only barely passed it with a shameful 11/20. This just goes to show my undying hatred for that subject. I was convincing myself that I could fall in love with ENG Math, but it's just out of my league. Heh!
Recently, we had to go all-out and complete a month-long Real Estate Business (REBUS) assignment whereby we have to collect 30 real estate articles, write a reflection and find the definition to all the real estate jargons and terms. Super headache task and it's no wonder that because of it, I've been sleeping way past 1am to finish it. At least it's all over now since the due date was 1pm today and I had stayed awake till 4am yesterday, or rather today, to finish up with the printing and pasting. My first time burning the midnight oil till 4am ever since school started though. Tiring? Hell yes. Sleepy now? Not really. My 3 hours of sleep didn't feel like a sleep anyways 'cause it felt more like I was awake throughout the whole night.
Okay, okay, I get it that it's over. And I celebrated the end of this assignment by eating at Pastamania and Frolick with my Poly clique :) Had a good, long laugh.
Week 4: Spamming assignments and meeting deadlines.
Week 5: Cramming last minute study, quizzes, huge REBUS deadline.
Week 6: Attached myself to the notes. Study week before Term Test!
Week 7: First 3 days with 3 Term Test papers only. Luckily~
Tsk. Whoever says Polytechnic is slack, should totally deserve to lick the floor I walk on. Idiots.
The hype of ESC and TPSU election in school is finally over. Results are out, and I hope they take off every damned banners that are littering the walls of the school. Such sore eyes.
I guess this is the end of my first part of updating for tonight.
